Yacht-Master: the bezel is raised, not recessed
The detail that separates a Yacht-Master from a Submariner at a glance is the bezel. On the Yacht-Master the numerals and graduations are raised and polished against a matte, sandblasted background — the opposite of the Submariner's engraved-and-filled ceramic. A clone that simply reuses a Submariner insert has already failed.
The Yacht-Master is also a bidirectional bezel, unlike the Submariner's unidirectional one. Turn it both ways: if it only goes counter-clockwise, it is the wrong part.
Several references pair the case with an Oysterflex rubber strap over a titanium blade, and the RLX titanium 42 mm reference is a distinct model again. Our Yacht-Master stock runs 37–42 mm; this is a small collection, so availability moves quickly.
