Santos: squared case, exposed screws

The Santos was one of the first wristwatches, and its design language is the squared bezel with eight exposed screws sitting on a rounded case. Those screws should be real and evenly clocked, and the bezel corners should be softly radiused rather than sharp — a clone with hard corners looks like a different watch entirely.

The dial carries Roman numerals with a railway minute track and Cartier's signature hidden letter in one of them. The blued sword hands should be genuinely blue, not black-painted.

Bracelet
